Quick Service Tip If your heater has no heat, replacing the thermal plate may solve this issue. However, replacing the plate can be difficult. The new plate does not come with the connector that plugs into the control board. This means you have to cut the connector off the old plate then splice it into the 4 wires on the new plate. Many people find it easier and ultimate lower in cost to just replace the entire heater assembly which can be done in minutes
