(the spring for the shear oiler is called “700SOSpring” or “SA13”)
The Shear Oiler is located just behind the Upper Shear. It should be oiled using a light machine oil monthly to eliminate glue build up on the shears. If the felt pad has pulled away from the metal bracket or if the felt pad is missing replace the bracket as soon as possible. Loose felt can get caught under the shear preventing the tape from being cut
